Kentucky doesn't even have a hint at one though, that concerns me.

Duke has Okafor, Wisconsin has Kaminsky, Texas has (had) Isaiah Taylor, UConn has Boatright, Cuse has Christmas, Miami has McClellan.

Everyone is catching hints of who it may be, and those are teams from all different skill levels. Kentucky doesn't even have a hint at who it could be.

And for the record, you just talked about Uconn, Syracuse, and Miami in the same sentence as Kentucky, Duke, Wisconsin, and Texas. That alone is a joke.

Gardner Webb has a go-to guy as well. Should they be included in the conversation?

Just so you know, Karl Towns basically has the best efficiency rating in the whole country. Don't confuse a lack of overall touches for anything more than it is. Per possession, they have plenty of studs. If you can't see that, you're watching a different sport

You've got me for now, but when the rest of the team slows down they're still going to want their touches. And a little amount of touches with a high effieciency won't mean as much when everyone else isn't playing how well they are right now.

It wasn't about the teams, was supposed to just point out that you need a go-to scorer. You can replace UConn, Syracuse and Miami with Arizona, Louisville and Gonzaga.

Arizona has Ashley, Louisville has Harrell, Gonzaga has Wiltjer (Pangos depending on situation)

you have not watched us this year, have you. Brash is still far from the player he was last year at the time of the injury, and is certainly not our go-to player. And Wiltjer is DEFINITELY not Gonzaga's go to, no matter what one 32 point game might have you believe

So true. From an ACC point of view I believe that uNC is not a Top 10 team right now. They are talented, and the season is still early. But right now, they are just not there. Miami is the real surprise of the ACC. We all knew Louisville and Virginia was strong with Brogdon back. Their defense is tremendous. But Laranaga is a great coach. Miami is ahead of where I had them at this point.
