NORMAN — Former Oklahoma cornerback Aaron Colvin suffered a torn ACL on Tuesday during Senior Bowl practice in Mobile, Ala.
Tuesday’s news was definitely a bummer, particularly considering all the injury problems Colvin has dealt with the past several months.
The two-time All-Big 12 performer released the following on twitter:
“As many of you already know I did catch a very unfortunate break today. No, don’t know why it happened to me but it did and I know there’s a special reason for it. I can sit here and cry about it or I can move forward and work my butt off to still make it happen, which I will! My faith will not be moved and I will continue to put my faith in the Lord my King to do bigger and better things than I originally had planned for myself. I will come back bigger, stronger and faster and I WILL be the most dominate DB in the league (mark my words) when I get my opportunity. I absolutely thank you all for the prayers and support. I truly believe God gives his biggest battles to his strongest soldiers and he knows he has warrior right here. Thank you all and I will see you at the top. God Bless #GodSpeed
