Look, the kid can strikeout 200 times and hit .250 but he's got 30 homer pop and the Giants reallllyyyy need it. Just love the effortless power swing (note the count too, doesn't matter what it is)

I hope you're right. My fear is that he's a .211 hitter with 200ks, a .265 OBP and -2.0 dWAR.

Let's hope I'm the pessimist here.

The high fastball will be his bane, like many tall hitters. Needs to lay off it going forward, or it could break him

Flem and Kruk are essentially part-timers at this point and J.A. and Lopez just aren’t cutting it.

I know he was kinda boring, but the guy they had during the Reds series was fine. And I honestly think he was boring because the Giants had nothing to get excited about that series. He's typically quite enthusiastic.

edit: to further your point, I could see Flem bolting here soon. Wouldn't be surprised if the Mouse gives him a pretty good deal
