Feels like we are 7-4.

Defense has just played beyond expectations.

Defense has played phenomenal, really beat out any expectations I had for them this year. I was thinking that the strength of the team would have been the offense, but for the most part it was the defense.

I sure as heck didn't think going into the year we would have such a powerful run offense. Which would perform significantly better than the passing.

there are only 2 starting srs on this D team. lot of upside for next years as long as the O can step up.

Williams, Finch and Clay, Millard, all gone. Saunders gone. Ikard, Irwin gone on the O line. lot of holes to fill. Hunnicutt is a Jr, so that's a plus.

Need some youngsters to step up, for sure, but I do like Knights upside and there should be some competition to make it even more interesting.

Here's a fun scenario. OU beats OSU. UT loses to TT, beats BU. BU beats TCU, loses to UT. Each team finishes 7-2. 4 way tie for the B12.

As big as the turmoil has been on offense, I think that Knight may have needed the break. He seemed so tentative and unsure on his first two starts. I didn't see any of that yesterday. Add to that the fact that someone mentioned yesterday, that this offense was built for his tools, almost custom made for him. Agree with wheat, the Offense is going to have to rebuild next year. If some of the youngsters step up, this could be a great defense and a really good offense!

Ripkowski looked very good. He's stepped right into Millards spot when it comes to blocking.

This is due to the lack of a CCG. Instead of being idle during CC week, OU and OSU have decided Bedlam will keep us in the voters minds. Not so much an issue this season...

I think Tech beats them too. And that is going to leave us rooting for Tejas if we take care of business in Bedlam. Can't see me doing that. Think I would still pull for Baylor in that game even if it hurt OU's chances for the CC. I don't want anymore stinking ties for the conference anyway. If it ends up a tie I think Baylor has all the tie breaks as far as the BCS goes. Doesn't the Big XII still take the highest rank from the BCS to break the tie?

UT beat TT, so still in it.
BU barely survived lowly TCU, so still in it.
OSU is in the best shape, only having to beat us in Stillwater to wrap it up.
Both UT & BU get to watch the Bedlam results, since its another 11 am game. Both will have to be cheering us on. Can you feel the love, my brothers!?!

If somehow we play above our level and topple OSU, I just hope to God BU can take care of UT in Whaco. Humiliating enough having to endure the RRR loss until next year. At least we have remained above the Horns all season in the polls.
