wow, people presumably 20+ years older than I am have a larger collection
wow!

lol more @ bragging up your parents to begin with
I bet their retirement fund is larger than mine too

funny how time works

LOL I've alphabetized the entire collection on two separate occasions, it's a monster. It's willed to me, so why not talk about it like it's mine? It will be someday. Won't it just grind your gears when someone many decades sprier than yourself has a far superior music collection?

because I BOUGHT (across the globe ) MY COLLECTION through desire, effort, will, work, interest, etc.

what did you BUY in your parent's collection ?
nothing. you're hyping up doing nothing yourself other than being a fertilized egg. what do you even like in the collection? what does it say about you? what % of it do you honestly not like ?

I don't know what prog is. I feel special.

Progressive Rock is basically music using rock instruments (Electric Guitar/Bass Guitar/Synth/Drumkit) that draws more on classical music, baroque, jazz, etc. instead of blues like other genres of Rock.

Typically features highly technical musicianship.

Its not horrid, something I would listen to stoned, they are more sludge.

I like traditional doom like Candlemass.

I like all of it? I mean, there are some albums here and there but I'd ballpark it at about 98% of it I like.

too bad albums are a small % of what you claimed.

but enjoy bragging about being the paris hilton of music collections

You brought it up buddy, I just felt like one-upping you. I defy you to find a bad record in that collection. Wait, nevermind, we do have The Wall.

I talked about MY collection. You talked about YOUR PARENTS'

IF we talked about businesses.

I talked about my business. You talked about your parents'.

I built mine from scratch
You inherited yours

Who should feel a sense of pride and achievement?

Are you serious ?

Listen to We're Only In It for the Money by Frank Zappa. Greatest concept album ever. I also have this pretty badass orchestral arrangement of the Lamb Dies Down on Broadway on CD. Was done by the Drummer from Spock's Beard

I should, my "business" is better. Who cares if you built a used car lot brick by brick, if I'm selling cadillacs who's buying from you?

Not gonna lie, I never gave Zappa much of a chance. But, I will listen to this album. And the Lamb Lies Down on Broadway album is sick, that sounds interesting.
