I have been so tempted to get back out in the garage and start working on my '66. The only issue is that it isn't something I can do for an hour here and an hour there. The next step is a full wire kit. Have it sitting in the passenger floor, but don't have the long uninterrupted hours that I did pre-kid. I have the parts, just need to make the time or it will never run.
I too am a fan of the gold. Haven't gotten to the stage of picking colors. Really want to do a dark metallic gray and black interior. In texas with no A/C though...
+1000 for the '70
Are you talking about the full wire harness? You can do an hour or two at a crack, as long as you have schematics you can stop and start whenever.
Get to it fordman, let's see her hit the road soon.
Hot Rods are gay??
Smoke, I thought you were cool man..;-)
I'm guessing Smoke is a Datsun guy.
Yeah, it is a 100% full kit, from the bay to the taillights. I have to start in the dash though, and that's daunting. I know I have a few hours there.
Lol. Just kidding. I'd cream my pants if I could ever own either one.
If you have everything out(seats, carpet, instrument bezels etc,etc..)it should go quick. Just give yourself a goal of 10 hours a week, then you should have the wiring done in a week and a half..
And you can have the rear springs re-arched.
