OK, even though you have more reps than God, I will try and use small words for you.

First of all, we are not here to impress you, so get over yourself.

Second, on this board, we tend to have nicknames for players and teams. For example, Melky Cabrera is "Leche", because Melky sounds like "milky", and "Leche" is Spanish for "milk".

So when we make Game Day Threads (GDT's), we often use strange names for teams. Take a look at the past threads to see what our habits are.

Giants are dead last in MLB at LOB with 7.39 per game. Last year, a terrible year for the Giants, they averaged 6.96 LOB per game.

Tonight was great, but they gotta do better with clutch hitting. Posey is 1-13 on the roadie so far, and we need him to get going with the bat.
