Is Moose your #1 guy over Hosmer and Cain, if you had your choice?

Hosmer's not that good.

edit: He's having a much better year than I figured, but even then a 123 OPS+ from 1B is still pretty meh. His glove isn't that good either.

Has Travis Shaw wrapped up the NL MVP yet?

Yeah but that guy they traded for him will be awesome at some point in the future for some team which might be the Red Sox. Or not.

Not this year. The Sox offense isn't good enough to win a world series and the bullpen outside of Kimbrel and possibly Kelly are all smoke and mirrors.

How will they win a World Series when the window is closed?

I like how the Yankees match up with them, because they have "some" success (in comparison to others) against Sale, and they demolish Price

With that said, the Yankees wont be there, so I guess it really only comes down to whether they can beat Houston and Cleveland, with an eye on KC

They seem to do well vs Houston

I feel like all bullpens are smoke and mirrors. Having two somewhat reliable guys, one dominant, can be enough. 2004 they had Foulke and not much else. Timlin and Embree weren't great that year. I still think it's Indians vs Astros in the ALCS, it's what I predicted pre-season and I'm sticking to it. But, get in the playoffs, offense can get hot.

Now Now Now, I have said all along:

"The Sox better win it this season, cause the window is closing"

Youre the one that decided to completely close it

Yankees gave your Sox a nice window to be successful

Now with money coming off the books in droves and the best farm system in baseball, the window has closed

Dont blame us, blame Dumborowksi

Hopefully this little pre-mature celebration of yours will be something I remind you of in September
If not, I'm sure I'll be able to find you on the NFL Forum celebrating the Giants 1-3 start.

Or celebrating Tom Brady throwing 3 defensive shutouts for his team
