A split would the minimum and a little disappointing. We should win today and Thursday. Their hitting is awful right now. If we win the two we should and split the other two I'd be pleased.

Somehow my brain translated Flores' double when Pederson was on first to runners at the corners. And yes, Conforto just making the out productive could had made it an easy call for game.

I don't think that's how it works, Cal. If the game is not tied, as long as they've played 4.5 innings, its over. Rain shortened win. No requirement for each team to have the same number of at bats.

If I'm wrong, roast me but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

We did catch a break in that we don't have to bring back Webb to pitch today. OTOH, since Young faced three batters, he can be replaced too.
