who would have thought you couldn't do much in the playoffs with two smaller guard scorers.

I'm not even mad. I've actually become a fan of the Pelicans during this offseason, they work hard and utilize their strengths and seem to be all business. They've deserved game 1 and game 2 and if they are to win this series I'll root for them to go deep in the playoffs. Almost hope for the Pelicans to build more around Davis and Cousins with Holiday to really build something special to compete with GS and Houston.

Portland meanwhile, I've said this all along, need to build around Lillard ASAP even if that means trading CJ. Keep Nurkic but need to get solid 2,3,4 guy. I say solid 2 guy because to be realistic you cant build stronger around Dame and keep CJ you're going to need to trade him.

Maybe it helps knowing regardless of Portland won this series or not, they weren't beating Golden State. So hopefully this helps wake them up to what they need this off season to ever be a real threat in the West. CJ and Dame aren't going to cut it.

If it weren't for the super team of GS the NBA would be a blast this year. All teams, besides the Rockets within 2 games of each other, the conference could be anyone's to take.
