Dodgers trying to get Carlos Lee. I guess they intend to platoon Lee at first base, although I have not read that anywhere. It doesn't make much sense to acquire Lee and give him full-time AB against RHP, he's not even close to being an impact player these days (especially away from minutemaid park).

Dodgers trying to get Carlos Lee. I guess they intend to platoon Lee at first base, although I have not read that anywhere. It doesn't make much sense to acquire Lee and give him full-time AB against RHP, he's not even close to being an impact player these days (especially away from minutemaid park).

Don't see Lee helping them much...at least until Ethier and Kemp are healthy. I hope they have to give up at least one good prospect for him.

I thought Lee had a no-trade clause.

Not surprising. They don't/can't give up enough young talent to get a difference maker. There aren't many out there and the doyer system isn't rich.

That said, I hope they overpay.
