I'll be watching whatever bowl game PSU is in, the CFP, Rose Bowl and MAYBE a couple of others. That's it though.

The NCAA just continues to add what is already a watered down bowl season. Add that to what I heard today about 3 more games possibly being added. I love football too but it's getting out of hand. I remember a day when even having a 7-4 record (back when they only played 11 regular season games) didn't guarantee a bowl game.

its a joke. they'll have 4 win teams going soon. nothing but certificate of participation bowl games. check the stands of these lower tier bowl games, hardly anyone in the stands. Cameramen are told not to pan up too much in some of these for a reason.

We have had plenty of 6-6 teams with an FCS win in there. If you are 5-7 with 0 FCS games, so be it.

Part of this is the consumer's fault. Two 5-7 teams could be playing and it would probably get better ratings than the two best teams in hockey playing.

one of the spots should go to Virginia to stop scheduling bowl eligibility. They scheduled really good OOC games and should be rewarded instead of penalized. Unfortunately, the lack of a head coach and their APR might make that not possible.

If a Bowl can exist and make money then there is nothing to stop them.
Going to a Bowl Game stopped meaning something a long time ago.
The NCAA won't limit the number of Bowl Games or teams from playing in them.
The NCAA learned their lesson the hard way about interfering with a teams money when Oklahoma kicked them in the balls in Federal Court and took their money away.

They won't make that mistake again.

Missouri has already stated that they will not go to a bowl even if invited. Which makes no damn sense whatsoever.

UVA is 4-8. If they were 5-7, I'd agree for them being one of those getting a bowl considering their OOC. Looking back at their schedule, they only had 3 games decided by more than a score with those being UCLA, BSU and UNC. Came damn close to pulling off the ND game too.
