Actually that's the odd thing. I haven't watched a lot of him this year other than yesterday. But he was throwing some heaters with insane inside run to right handers.

I think his issue is he throws so many heaters and it's so predictable even if it runs a bit. The twins were basically up there hacking the whole time and he didn't adjust.

He ate a lot of shit from the media and fans in Boston (well deserved, in my opinion), and he had some remarkably shitty seasons there. He was a couple innings shy of qualifying as the worst pitcher in the majors one of those years.

I don't know that he would have turned it around in Boston, and I can't blame their FO for moving him. I remember some Red Sox fans saying they should just release him outright.

I'm glad he didn't try to negotiate out of his option year, though. Proves he's not a complete shit knuckle.
