What are the rules about an interpreter visiting the mound? Can it be anyone, or does a team have to have a designated interpreter (or 5)?

Could the coach visit the mound with a player as the interpreter?

How confusing must it be for pitchers/catchers to have to face those two back-2-back 3 or 4 times a night? You can not get 2 hitters with more different approaches than those two.

Why ANY pitcher EVER throws a strike to :panda: is beyond me. He is a helluva hitter, but sometimes seems to eager to prove it.

"Throw me that two hopper, and watch me clobber it!"

"Toss me that high outside cheese so I can smash it!"

Alas, on this roadie, hitting has not been our problem.

That said, in the 7th, with Pill on 2nd and no outs, we gotta find a way to advance him and get him in.

This points to something, but not sure where to go to discover the source:

Trick pickoffs, addition of interpreters and coaches among MLB rules changes awaiting union approval | MLB.com: News

Thought he was with the Scrub Jays.

December 11, 2012: Signed as a Free Agent with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Looked like he was playing RF for them that inning...
