What excuses? The defense lost the game in the first. Happens sometimes. They are going to lose 65+ games this year. Some will be shitty pitching, some will be blown saves, some will be getting shut out, some will be all of that.

Saying that it all had to do with the new environment, turf, lights. These were mental mistakes tonight, with some physical errors mixed in. Defense was awful, we lost this game no doubt. Losing happens, just don't like using "environment" excuses for all of these errors

I'd much rather strike out 10 times and really fail to do anything besides pop up when we are getting blown out than in a close game with dominant pitching. Get the bad stuff out of the way, save the good stuff for when Cain or Bum is shutting out a team so we can crush them. Fight On!
