The 49ers have signed RT Anthony Davis to a 5 year $37 million deal which includes $17 million in guaranteed. This keeps Davis with the Niners through 2019!!!! I love it! They have extended a key player. Kaepernick, Iupati, Aldon Smith, and Crabtree figure to be coming up in the future as well!

Called that like three weeks ago.. Awesome job. Time to start eating away at our big ass cap space in the nexst three years. I think they wanted to do it this year with the T market being a bit low..

Semi surprised by this. I always thought Davis and Crabtree were going to be the odd men out with so many extensions needed to happen. I just hope we can keep Iupati, Aldon, and Kaepernick too.

I think this shows their continued dependability on the end of 2nd yr high lvl production or 3rd year quality production. Willis, Staley, Lee, Bowman, Vernon, and I know others fall into this category. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kaep/Aldon get it after this season. I would expect to see Iupati signed between now and training camp. I think this clearly shows that Crabbers is further down their list. I would expect to see one year of franchise tag and then he's gone.

wow, what a deal! i thought he might end up being the odd man out in that 2015 FA group, but he's the first to sign. The numbers look pretty darn good too

There were so many AD haters his first two years in the league, glad that he has proved them wrong

Awesome fucking signing! Great, great move. He's young, gives our line a nastiness and has been improving a lot. Extremely happy about this, thought we would end up losing him!!

imo we should always have someone on rookie contract on the offensive line. within a 1-2 that should be center. then we should be looking at either RG or RT. boone could slide over to RT to replace davis.

unless we're not planning to resign some other guys like crabtree, we can't have that much cash invested in the offensive line.

Awesome news, especially since he has been getting better each year. I actually thought he'd be the odd man out too.

Good signing. Need the OL stay together. Is Goodwin in the last year of his contract? He will probably be let go after this upcoming season. Possibly draft a center this year to groom for next year.

Kilgore and Looney are possible replacements at C/G. Yes Goodwin is in his last year.
Staley is on a very reasonable contract and so is Boone. If Iupati doesn't demand top dollar we will have an excellent line locked down for awhile.
