So how do you guys feel about the Kings. I am a Sacto resident for all 19 years of my life. Wondering how you guys feel about the possible relocation

Seattle deserves to have a team. The Sonics should not have been allowed to relocate. That said, I have a few friends who are big fans of the Kings. It seems strange to me that the Bay Area would only have one NBA team, and that Sacramento would have zero pro teams.

In short, I really hope the Kings stay in Sacramento. It would be mighty sad to see them leave.

Nicasio scouting report:

“Nicasio projects as a No. 3 starter but could become a frontline guy if he refines his secondary pitches. His changeup generates some swings and misses, but he telegraphs it at times by slowing his arm speed.“

He also suffered a broken neck in August of 2011. Yikes.

Injuries have threatened Nicasio's once-promising career; he had his 2011 cut short by a fractured neck vertebra suffered when he was struck in the head by a line drive that August, then his 2012 ended on June 2 when he twisted his left knee fielding a ground ball, necessitating microfracture surgery. Nicasio's rehabilitation has reportedly gone well and he claims his velocity is back to its prior 93.7 mph career average; he is expected to grab one of the several vacancies in the Rockies' rotation.
