Who's Mac?

Mac Williamson. Our 3rd rounder in last years draft. Dude has MASSIVE power, and supposedly, once the G's saw him in camp last year, they fell in love even more. Reportedly, they were considering starting him in Richmond this year.

Unfortunately, he left the game early tonight after making a play in the field. No reports yet beyond that.

I've been trying to figure out what happened, nothing. We'll have to wait till tomorrow.

The kid was out of Wake Forrest and is the closest thing to a true 5-tool guy we have in our system. Some scouts are really excited about the guy.

Offense has not done much in these first seven games, but yet we are 4-3. I'm optimistic that we're gonna start hitting better and go on a nice hot streak pretty soon. Props to everyone who said that Pence was locked in during Spring Training. He's come out like gangbusters this year.

sweet, thanks for the info

As much as I like what hunter brings, if the Giants can keep bringing up talent it will be easier to offset Captain MoneyPants in LA.

Another gem....you've ably filled in for gp. Maybe have to permanently?

I hope and think gp will be back. Perhaps he's on vacation with the Giants offense?

:D

According to Docs blog, it is nothing. He dove for the ball (caught it) and was removed from the game because he got the wind knockout ot of him. He was back in the dugout a couple innings later joking with the team.

Does gp seem like the kind of dude that wouldn't have internet access even on vacation? Might have to send out a search party....

Send out a bat signal? Gp's a good dude. This Hammer guy better not run off all the good guys here.

Filo almost ran tz off last year, but unfortunately, tz came back.

We will see if Hammer has more success.

I vaguely remember him mentioning that he was going to be out for a while. I figured he'd be back by opening day.

Yup, when gp has someone challenge him he just comes back stronger. If he left, I'm sure it was for other reasons.

Lol, you fuckface. Nice revisionist history sir!!!!! ;)

He does post at McCovey Chronicles that I know of. However, don't know his sn. I'm sure if he did leave he seems like the type of dude that would at least say so. He's probably just taking a break would be my guess (like cc alluded to).
