Joe West stinks. He is a boorish buffoon that has no idea what the strike zone is. Matter of fact most of the MLB umpires don't know what the strike zone is and get fooled 40 times a night by catchers framing pitches. The ball HAS TO GO OVER the plate at some point between the knees and the armpits. That's the rule. If Joe West and company can't do this they need to sell timeshares or swampland in Florida. Hunter had every right to request a second opinion and MLB needs to look at the strike zone problem seriously. Each umpire has his own interpretation. That's not how the rule book is written for some fathead to interpret it. Sunday nights game was a joke with whoever that meathead was behind the plate. All his historonics punching guys out like everybody game to watch him call balls and strikes....my ass!

Gonna be a long season for Giants fans. That rotation is being held together with chewing gum and baling wire.

As far as the Giants this is what happens to teams that go to the playoffs a lot. Their players eventually start wearing out. It's hard to keep everyone healthy if they play an extra month of baseball as much as the Giants have been.
