Gotta love Cueto. I think the Giants pitcher's are leading the league in hitting collectively.

Was anything wrong with Span, or is Bochy going with a hunch? Platoon?
Span was sore, but apparently wasn't sure how he got hurt.

Old-man aches...

Sore after an off day? I mean, delayed onset muscle soreness is a thing but you're supposed to get over that in ST. Not a great start.
It was in his surgically repaired hip.

REALLY not good...

Apparently, the Snakes wanted to challenge Cueto touching home plate, but they were too slow in officially requesting the replay.

Interesting.

Did he touch it? I thought I heard Kruk implying that maybe he didn't...

On the Giants tv feed, they wondered, but didn't show a lot of angles. They seemed surprised that the snakes didn't challenge.

I think a HEALTHY Span is a better all-around player.

That said, Gorkys is a better all-around player.

I'm not so sure healthy Span at this age is > Gorkys. We need some youth to emerge.

It's a big IF, but IF HEALTHY, Span is better.

He's just never really healthy anymore.

I think we see a sea change in the OF this year. All three starters could be replaced by year's end.

Maybe, I'm just starting to think even when totally healthy Gorkys looks better. Span is old for an OF.
