Well that ends that. Sweeped by the Padres, 5 game losing streak.
Final 2 games we score 11 runs but give up 14. Unacceptable in a park like that. Mental errors, lazy play and awful pitching have killed us.

Just catching part of the games on the radio, sounds like Torres misplayed a few balls out there recently.

Hoping all the recent innings at this point of his career haven't caught up to Vogey

I was unable to watch any of he games this weekend (damn you MLB territory right!!!), but my sense is the same. It is early, and I am not worried to any kind of serious level, but the team seems asleep at the wheel right now.

The bats are doing a GREAT job, but the the pitching and D has been worrisome. I am not sure it is to the point of a closed door meeting, or anything like that, but Towers and Scutaro have each made some wacky plays out there that are not physical and need to be addressed.
