I am not a fan of Nunez in the lead off spot. Historically, he just doesn't walk enough to be right for that spot. I think he is an OK 3 hitter or an ideal 6 hitter.

But he should 100% be leading off before Hill leads off. Wtf is the logic behind Aaron freakin Hill batting leadoff?

I don't understand the Hill thing with these guys. There's preference for veterans, and there's blind stupidity. Hill has not been a good player since 2013. There is no long-term contract binding them to him. Giving him the most AB's in the lineup is laughable.

Good news is Morse and Williamson are both playing in San Jose tonight. Hopefully this will be over soon.

Interesting about Mac.

Assuming both are ready at the same time, who gets the call? I would assume Morse gets shot #1 since he is the vet and Mac has options. Even though Morse, much like Hill, has not been good in multiple seasons...

Yeah Mac will probably "need a bit more time" and Morse will get a crack.

Gotta think he'll get quite a long leash too.

Does Marrero go first or Hill? I'd prefer no moves until May, but assuming the Giants are itching to bring up Morse, which guy does he replace? (or does Okert just get sent back down?)

Remember, Bochy is still recovering from heart surgery. He may be on drugs.

Is it even something Bochy would have a hand in? Maybe this is just what Ron Wotus wants... :noidea:

And we got our tight-sphincter pitcher who can't get a win on the mound. No chance we even sniff a win today.

Then I have no clue, other than Wotus making sure he never gets hired to manage an MLB team . . . ever.

Imagine explaining why he hit a guy who was never a lead off hitter, in the twilight of his career, hitting in the low .100s in the lead off spot.

[gravelly voice] "Well, you know he's working hard and had some good at bats. The hits aren't coming but he is a veteran and knows what he is doing."
