Yeah it's something hard to put your finger on. And at best they have wild card talent.

If the window is closed, I am OK,with that. 3 rings is good for a lifetime, let alone 5 years.

But if it is closed, don't just float. Make the changes needed to open a new window. If that means trading Cueto, fine. If that means trading Nunez, fine. If that means trading Belt, Panik, Sammy, Melancon, fine. Keep Bum, Posey and Craw, and rebuild around them.

I would have liked a little criticism from K&K on that error. That was a lazy error, pure and simple. That is emblematic of the problems the team is having right now. They are just going through the motions.

I tend to agree, but I just don't think that's in their DNA. Unless they are like 8 games out of the chase at the deadline, they won't be sellers.

I know. You are right.

And ultimately, that is one of the reasons I really love this team. Consistency makes us really grow attached to these players. I really feel sorry for As fans in that regard. I don't understand how they can do it.
