I like Kontos as well, but I don't see him as an 8th inning guy unless the team is down. I'm sure Boch had his reasons (Kontos throwing well, tie game with only so many righties in the 'pen, etc.)

2-0 feels like 7-0. Ugh.

Call me pessimistic but I didn't like our odds against Kershaw. Felt we were going to lose, but still had some faith. He just dominates us

Dodgers fans sending me the stat about Kershaw's first HR and first Opening Day HR since Opening Day. They didn't seem to like my question of asking for the stat of their last playoff appearance

Yup. Hard to blame Kontos (although giving up a HR to a pitcher is pretty inexcusable), he did his job in the 7th. Oh well.

Yup. The scary part about this is that Crawford looked pretty good (except for getting thrown out at 3rd). Oh well, we lost 3 in a row to start the year off last year and that didn't end so bad right?
