It was a great doc, but crap man this may have been the toughest 30 for 30 for me to stomache. Tough to watch to be honest, just extremely sad.

I fail to see the logical escalation from "Hey, we're football players, everyone gives us stuff" to "Hey, we're football players, let's go rob a bunch of places at gun point". Maybe if they partied too much, got mixed up in cocaine or something, sure. But armed robbery? Nope. That's not coddled football culture that the doc tried to portray. That's just being a dumbass.

But on the positive, at least they all stayed clean after getting out of prison. The probability of all 6 of those guys never having been arrested again is pretty low yet the pulled it off and turned their lives around

They do kind of need a story. 30 for 30s are generally looking for slimy situations, think Fab 5 30 for 30 (playing to my audience with that one). I thought it was amazing. Forget Carter, but the other schools suing was just sad.
