So Buck had to use Chaz Roe for multiple innings in a 9-1 game to make Roe unavailable in a tie game. Then Buck rather use Hunter for multiple innings in extra-innings instead of Brach. Hard to get to the backend of their bullpen in extra-innings when you're using your backend guy first to give away the game.

Pierce should pinch hit for Paredes against lefties.

Agreed and 100% agreed. Easy to blame Hunter for the loss, but they had multiple chances with multiple runners on base with less than 2 outs.

From last night, Team RISP 0-8, Team LOB 7.

That pretty much sums it up, guys got on base but no one could drive them in. Can't rely on a couple of solo homers to win games.

I would cut Hunter and bring up Drake soon. Hunter is a free agent at the end of the year so their not losing much. Drake last 9.1 innings 0 runs in AAA.

Reimold hasn't been doing to hot just hitting .214 in the last 7 3-14. Lough is .385 in the last 7 games that's why he got the start last night. Pearce should get a game or 2 at first. He's been hot .381 in the last 7, while Parmelee is 1 for 18 .056.

1. At this point, I'd recommend sending Norris to the DL for inflammation of the ERA and bring up Wilson (who could take the rotation spot of the weakest starter if needed). Also, Norris should have pitched yesterday since that's the classic mop-up situation. (I'd imagine that the Brach - Matusz - Britton combination would be able to limit the damage to 2 or fewer runs in today's game and thus prevent a sweep.)

2. If it weren't for the relative parity in the AL East this year, the Orioles might be approaching the point where it would make sense to start rebuilding for 2016...
