Obviously i'm a homer but it amazes me Jim Marshall isn't in the HOF. He is credited with having 127 sacks, played on arguably one of the 3 best defenses in the history of the NFL, had the streak, the starting defensive line for the NFC in 1969 was Eller, Page, Larsen, Marshall, thats the only time thats ever happened in NFL history and he's not in. I think it's because they lost 4 Super Bowls, the powers that be don't want to reward to many players off those Vikes teams.

He is for sure dinged on voting because he played next to to of the greatest dlineman ever. Add in an all time great safety it is unlikely the 4th best from the defense would get any love........unless you are the Steelers. Their bar for the HoF is lower than the rest of the leagues.
