Paxton has been pitching great... Glad we held onto him... Gives us a lot of hope going into next season... Now we just need Walker to show some kind of consistency...

All in all, great series.... Making a run is what they need to do and now is a better time than any at this point of the season... M's are in 2nd place right now in their division with the Astros losing and 3.5 back of the WC spot... At least we're talking about them in August... Nice to have a shot at this point rather than being 10 games under .500...

Update on Paxton: Contusion on his left elbow, x-rays negative and he's listed as day-to-day. It could have been a lot worse.

I'd also like to amend my previous post. It's the 4th time Trout has struck out 4 times in a game and Paxton has done it to him twice.

Nice to see he had a decent game this time. Even more so the fact that he handled Trout the way he did. That guy normally lets loose in Safeco, but it's good to know that Pax has his number.

Unfortunate, he pitched a awesome game. With his history I could see him needing a DL stint or missing his next start.
