It's unnecessarily negative. Ranking the players would be more diplomatic than saying the 3rd should be cut. All 3 of these players start on virtually any NBA team.
Never seen you take this stance on the hundreds * exaggerating * of other start, bench, cut posts.

It’s not meant to be taken seriously.

Don’t get emo because your guy is the obvious cut.

Put him with the PF, different outcome.

Centers?

Bye, Felicia.

Herro is half a player. He's a hunting target on defense.
Not gonna shit on this kid.

He’s a nice offensive player.

Yes, Dude is a gazelle amongst lions on the other end of the floor.

I personally prefer Maxey.

Slightly as a player.

But, mostly because of that Herro contract.

Philly , or whoever , will have to pay Tyrese eventually.

Well at least Russ took less money to stick around. Yes, I’m trying hard to be positive, kind of.

Merril shot the shit outta the ball....he was draining 3's.....i dont htink they have any room for the guy but the least you can say is he took advantage of his opportunity.
Pretty sure Merrill has a standard NBA contract.

……and I am glad to have him back, seriously.

Russ’ biggest issue was being overpaid.

Now he is the opposite.

I know the missed layups and turnovers were exasperating.

But, mostly because he was making over 40 mil.

Hearing some local stuff about Presti kicking the tires on Siakam. I don’t see it happening but he is Prestis kind of guy.

I think Maxey presents two areas he can improve on and we already know the kid is a gym rat with what he’s done to his 3 pt shot.
1. Playmaking. He drives with his head down looking only to finish. Now he needs to add his playmaking. Harden going AWOL may help in this regard as he’s thrown to the wolves as defacto PG.
2. His defense. He’s not long. But he is cat quick. He needs to learn how to hedge and get into passing lanes. He also needs to get better at using his feet to keep players in front of him and really tap into that quickness.

Herro has improved a bit defensively. I just don’t know that there’s any more upside to be explored in the player.

Tough fit with Chet. There’s a lot of same same when you project what you want the players to be.

AD doesn’t start on Denver or Philly though unless he goes back to playing the 4.
AD would love to go back to playing the 4...he has bitched about playing the 5 ever since he got to LA. He hates playing the 5 and being physical.

Yeah, I tend to agree. For me, the fact that we know that AD doesn't want to play the 5 has to be factored in.

@tlance makes a good point that, AD would play alongside Joker or Embiid better than Joker and Embiid would play alongside each other.

But the game is "start, bench and cut" which implies all 3 playing the same position.

In that situation, it's Joker starting and Embiid off the bench.

100%.

If we were going with 4’s, it would come down to your preference between KD and AD.

Im obviously taking Giannis first.

But, KD hasn’t been a iron man the last 3 years.

So, that can’t be used against the Brow.

It would come down to do you covet the shooting ability of Durant or the defensive savagery of Davis more?

Small sample size.

But, Durant looked like a Robin to Book’s Batman.

Tough call.

Both those Dudes should be the alphas on their teams and they are not.

At least Durant has the excuse that he’s old.

I would probably go Davis.
