From gbnreport.com:
The first group of WRs have completed their 40 runs and we are still waiting for the official times, but at least based on the unofficial clockings it was a nice outing for Calvin Austin of Memphis who blitzed a 4.32, although he was actually hoping to get under 4.30. Penn State’s Jahan Doton (4.41) and Skyy Moore (4.39) also had good clockings, but they too were probably hoping to be faster. Meanwhile, Danny Gray of SMU may have opened a few eyes with a time of 4.33 as did kevin Austin of Notre Dame who posted a 4.37 unofficial time. On the other hand, it was kind of a ‘meh’ run for Arkansas’ Treylon Burks who had runs of 4.55 and 4.50. Not bad for a 225-pounder, but he was reportedly hoping for something in the low 4.4s. Also a disappointing time of over 4.60 for Purdue’s David Bell.

Also from gbnreport:
It’s only the eyeball test, but both Treylon Burks of Arkansas and USC’s Drake London were able to check off some boxes at the this morning’s weigh-in/measurement session for WRs at the scouting combine in Indianapolis. Courtesy of Steelers Depot, Burks measured in at 6-2, 225 with 33.5-inch arms and 10-inch hands, while London came in at 6-3.7, 219 with 33 inch armsand 9.5-inch hands. Among the other receivers considered to have first-round potential for the upcoming draft, Ohio State’s Garrett Wilson was a little smaller than expected as he measured in at 5-11.5 and just 183 pounds, although he does have 32-inch arms and big 10-inch hands. Alabama’s Jameson Williams also weighed in about ten pounds lighter than listed at just 180 pounds on a 6-1.5 frame, although he too has decent 32-inch arms. At the same time, though, the ‘other’ Bama/Buckeye WRs – Chris Olave of OSU and the Tide’s John Metchie – both recorded relatively short arms at 31 and 30.5 inches respectively. So did Kyle Phillips of UCLA and Kentucky’s Wan’Dale Robinson who were both under 30 inches. In fact, Robinson, who is only 5-8 has positively Gator arms at barely 27.5 inches, although its likely most NFL teams weren’t expecting much more. Meanwhile, a couple of other receivers who did kind of jump off the stage this morning were Alec Pierce of Cincinnati who measured in at 6-2.5 and 211 pounds with 33-inch arms and Texas Tech’s Erik Ezukanma who is 6-2, 210 with 33-inch arms.

No mention of Christian Watson running a 4.36 at 6"4"

6'3" WR Alec Pierce was clocked at 4.33 .. I suppose that was unofficial because today he's listed at 4.41

Carson Strong, who I like, was erratic in the throwing drills - constantly throwing at the knees on the short and intermediate routes .... I'm not sure there is a QB in this draft who has more tools and ( that dreaded word ) potential than Lock ..

I was not aware that Mahomes ran a 4.8 40 .. He sure runs away from a lot of defenders ... I understand their reasons, however, guys who strategically avoid certain competitions are not guys I want going into battle - they're already thinking contract, and the business side of things becomes more important than the competitive spirit ..

RB Pierre Strong from South Dakota State University had a pretty good day at the combine.
  • 40 yard Dash - 4.37 - tied for the fastest RB
  • Vertical - 36.00" - 6th best for RBs
  • Broad Jumb - 10'4" - tied for 6th best for RBs
I am biased, but I love to see the Bronos use a day 3 pick on him to complete and provide depth.

This guy is so good - they named the State Capitol city after him in South Dakota.
