So, he's not a reach at #17?

I'm trying to think outside of the box.

Porter Jr has been around in the 70's.

If he's healthy, steal.

If he isn't, fuck my life.

I don't think I should risk it...lol

I'd rather take Klay or Lauri in the 9th round.
I have actually seen him ranked at the end of the 1st round but I’ve seen him lower too. I think he could easily have a Dejounte Murray type season but I doubt I will look at him quite that early.

Probably told what @Mecca says...there's a trade coming.
With Russ off the roster, I love the Bev and Schroeder pick ups.

Both are fiesty and get after it.

Bev the better 3 PT shooter, Dennis the better scorer.

He's a fucking steal for the minimum.

Yep.

I agree that there must be a trade in the works.

Unless they're trying to do like the Suns that season a few years back where it looked like they were trying to have an all point guard roster.

The only other reason I can think of is that plan B is to tell Russ to stay home.

Dejounte is at #15 and Tyrese moved up 1 spot to #17 in my league.

Gonna pass on both.

I will consider Haliburton before Murray, not sure about Murray’s new situation.

They ended up losing all 3.

Maybe they are trying to replicate the ending of the 2001 NBA All-Star game.

Dikembe and 4 midgets erased a 21 PT lead with 9 mins left in the game.

It was fricking AMAZING.

Marbury and Iverson went HAM.

I know Kobe was PISSED...lol

Now all the Lakers need is one of the Ball brothers to sign so the old man can show-up at the Crypto-center everyday and spew forth his insanity with that mouth of his.
Lavar is a genius!

ESPN creames their pants whenever LiAngelo puts up double figures in a G-league game, or there’s talk of him getting a workout with a team.

Respect…

I am sure Ham would just love to have LaVar sittin' behind Ham's bench yelling out instructions for whichever son is signed by the Lakers!

My lawn mower was smoking today.

Thought it was going to explode

That has to be one of the worst ways to go, explosion during chores…not even doing something cool lol

He was a complete waste of the MLE before this....lol

Bev and Dennis make you better.

But, there has to be more coming.

There is zero chance they carry 4 pg's on a roster that has Lebron.

Rob cannot be that stupid.

A trade is coming.

Getting PatBev and Schroder make sense if they do the Indy deal for Hield/Turner. That balances the roster out pretty well. But in all trades, the Lakers are turning them down because they don't want to give up both picks and they don't want to take on long term money (want cap space for 23). I don't understand the cap space thing at all considering there isn't really any free agent worth it (Kyrie ain't coming). I semi-understand the former about the picks, but only if they are unprotected. How fucking hard is it to throw a Top 3 protection on the 2029 pick and be done with it? Or a pick swap.

See, that is just it

Halliburton in round 2?

I get maybe wanted a more established safer player there.

But in the middle to late rounds?

You need to take guys with upside.

Drafting Klay or Lauri is how you finish 3rd.

If you draft a player like Porter Jr and he doesn’t pan out, you drop him and move on.
