Wasn't his first choice of scenarios.

But, I believe be would have gone to the Lakers before returning to Toronto.

If the rumors are to be believed, he wouldn't commit even if the Raps traded for George and Westbrook.

He's the NBA's version of a cold blooded assassin.

It takes more than just the market. There has to be something else attractive about the team.

Look at the Clippers. For years they couldn't even get a meeting with top FA's, even though they are in LA.

They get a new owner, a new FO, a couple of years to show they have their shit together and look at them now. If this was still the Donald Sterling Clippers, Kawhi doesn't even meet with them.

There is no question that location helps teams get meetings, but there's more to it than just location.

True, but I suspect an LA team with Magic still involved can get a meeting with an LA kid.

Really all I'm saying is who cares if you cannot sign these guys?

They would be taking back around $68M, not sure how that is even possible. It is but next to impossible with a 3 team trade.

They would have to trade basically everyone on their roster except Butler and one other player around $11M lol

Your boy Herro looks really good.

He can do more off the bounce than I thought. Definitely has to work on his defense, but the kid can score in a variety of ways. He plays with a swagger too. Love that.

He's showing promise. Want to see what he can do at the next level. But he excelled in college and now summer league, along with showing a variety of skillsets.

That's beyond wishful. But would be great.

That would put him better than West, not bc RW or Love is anything close to Paul George or Kawhi but just for the fact you acquire two stars/All-stars in one deal and not having to give up 50 1st rounders.

Love has been in rumors for 4 years now. He won't be going anywhere, at least if he did I would be very surprised.

Yeah makes no sense for OKC, trade Russ for Wall. If OKC is wanting to rebuild taking that Wall contract would be the last thing they want.
