Aside from a couple wackos, most in this forum are open minded enough to have a civil conversation. Also, I have found that the regulars in here are generally pretty intolerant to some of the racist jokes/comments that play shockingly well in other areas of the Hoop.

This is the best board on SportsHoopla IMO. Well this and the fantasy football forum.

The only 2 boards I post on even during the off season

or LeBron, or Kyrie...

better than having 3 #2 picks and coming away with Ball, Ingram and Russell.

Ingram is going to be a star, Ball has played half a season in the NBA and Russell got us Kuzma and the cap space to sign LeBron.

So yeah... poor Lakers

not yet- though at least they dont have any as bad as Deng. lol.

plus, Hill and Smith will be fairly substantial assets come this spring/early summer. The longer they wait on those two the better their value will be.

A substantial asset that doesn't know the score of the game he's playing?

Heat have made Whiteside, Johnson, Waiters available in trade talks

@bksballer89 @TurnUpTheHeat

The Miami Heat have made Hassan Whiteside, Dion Waiters and Tyler Johnson available in trade talks this summer, according to a report from Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

The Heat, however, haven’t found a trade market for any of the players.

Whiteside is owed $24.4 million and $27.1 million in the final two years of his contract. The 7-footer recently said he and coach Erik Spoelstra had a great talk in a Miami Hotel and is ready to put both his struggles on the court and complaints about reduced playing time behind him.

While several prominent members of the Heat want to move on from Whiteside, the franchise understands his trade value is heavily diminished and won’t move him for clutter.

Why wouldnt any player be available?
Who knows what they were asking for in return?

Heard that Lebron guy has a chance to be a pretty good player.

Only if the Cavs are willing to trade short term shitty contracts for longer term shitty contracts plus assets. Are the Cavs in full rebuilding mode?

So, which one of the Morris kids are the Lakers signing next Summer?

Oh Shit, Bron no longer has that card to play.

Lakers are gonna sign both of them to the same contract. They share a bank account and other weird twin stuff, they can share one contract

very true....

this is going to be kind of a be a strange year where they just get a feel for which way they want to go since they are kind of stuck in the middle.

Hopefully they figure out who they want to stay, who they want to go, make a couple deals, and figure out which direction is the best for the team to go.

However, you can't expect to get too desired of an asset for a salary dump.

...and share a jersey. They just tag in at the sideline, no timeout needed.

I'd like Marcus Morris but he's not getting some outlandish contract.

We're going deep sea fishing to land another stud to pair with James.

The Clippers curse is now bi coastal.

I like Smith a lot and know he will take Redick's spot down the line.

But, after not getting LeBron, George, Kawhi.....

Trading the perfect fit in Mikal looks even more mind boggling with the Smith injury.

But, at least Chandler is a better than average stop gap.

Well you can't predict injuries, although at this point maybe the Sixers should predict that their rookie 1st round picks will suffer severe injuries.
