I thought it was more like the mid 50's, but yes this staff has done a good job of minimizing any damage done by the coaching change.

It just shows that winning is great for recruiting. Frost and company have a nice selling point at the moment. Hope they can maintain it on the field.
Being how it took 2 years at UCF, they'll have a rhetorical bye for the 2019 class as well.

I mean look what the right staff can do. Going back to Stoops taking over at OU and winning the NC in his frist year. Now I don't know if Stoops brought in a new staff or if he was promoted. Urban turned it around. He have time to instill a mindset that these guys can win. I think we win ten games this year.

Stoops went (7-5) his first year, then won the NC his 2nd year.

He was DC at Florida under Spurrier when Oklahoma hired him.
Prior to that, he was DC at K. State under Snyder.

The timing of this is all is perfect if you ask me.

A couple of seasons to get things turned around and then a home-and-away with Oklahoma. I think we will be competing at top 10 level by year 3 or 4 and it’s gonna show in that game.

Nebraska recruiting rankings update:

247Sports: 26th
247Composite: 23rd
Rivals: 18th
ESPN: 28th (ESPN's ratings are messed up they have Nebraska at 19 commites but Nebraska is at 20 commits so I'm not sure which current commit they aren't factoring in because they have all 20 listed)

Some updates...

- Nebraska had been trending well with Jarrett Bell but something is off and Nebrasks been offering some also-rans at OT to cover their bases. Wishing he hadn't taken that visit to ASU but oh well.

- Looks like we're in store for some signing day drama: Taiyon Palmer, Javontae Jean-Baptiste, and Cam Taylor all will be announcing on signing day... I'm confident in two of the three (JJB and and Taylor)

- Matthew Tago will be announcing his decision this Friday... if his offer is commitable, Nebraska is the favorite.

- It sounds like we're looking at 3-4 more spots, four at the most. Will be a very interesting week and half

Nebraska sent about 7 coaches to see Maurice Washington today at school, apparently it struck a chord. Soon after three Crystal Balls came in for the Huskers to land him. Nebraska hosts Washington this weekend.
