I wish this guy was locked up but as article states we don't have a place for him. Would have been nice tradebait though.

hes going to go the vessey route and go to UFA and then probably sign with the rangers. honestly i wouldn't even touch a player going to college hockey because they can pull this crap just like vessey and hayes did. 5th round pick lessens the sting but screw him

Strictly from a cap standpoint I wanted Cammalleri gone. If we sign a UFA or 2 on D our defense Corp is pretty crowded so Merrill was a numbers casualty.

Greene, Moore, Mueller, Severson, Santini, Lovejoy +UFA and any possible dark horse out of camp, not much room back there.

I was leaning toward Cammy because of his cap hit. But I realy don't mid seeing Merrill gone. Can't say I minded the rangers losing a piece of their future.Or the Islanders giving up their first rd pick #15 either tho.Pens got off easy last night dropping MAF when they could have lost Rust imo. Looking forward to tomorrow. Ive been pinging back and forth may prefer Nico tho

yeah i was hoping camm would be taken strictly from a cap standpoint. who knows though maybe he can put together 1 useful season still? maybe he can last 82 games?


the isles paid a big time price but then they go out and get eberle today so they will be better in the NOW. future? who knows.
