I saw on ESPN that Windhorst mentioned that Billups may possibly turn down the Cavs GM position. Can't say I'd blame him.

Probably doesn't like the idea of Lebron sticking his hand up his ass to make his mouth move.

If we don't get Hayward, I'm "okay" with getting Blake. Dude needs to stay healthy and toughen the fuck up. The talent is there, but man......

The more I think about it, a healthy Blake could be a bigger weapon then Hayward.
As of today, the Heat can go in a few directions and I can find positives in all of them.

Whoever takes the job will be viewed as a pawn.
If hired today, you really think he's calling any shots next week?

Lakers better trade for George.

Lebron, Wade and Melo are trying to pull a fast one in Cleveland and Westbrook is taking the money.

The Thunder will offer him a brand-new, five-year extension — Westbrook is locked in for 2017-18 — when the clock strikes midnight on July 1, making him one of the highest-paid players in NBA history, should he take it. It would signal a complete commitment to the Thunder, with Westbrook shucking any thoughts of joining a super-team elsewhere to take on the Golden State Warriors juggernaut, as he embarks on a mission

Those close to Westbrook fully expect him to take the Thunder’s offer, quite possibly at 12:01 a.m., and stabilize the franchise and present a clear road map.Westbrook signed an extension last summer and invoked the word “loyalty” for a reason. He wanted to make a statement — a public declaration — and take on the burden of leading the franchise forward.

As you pointed out to me, it's a Clipper thing.
What's his injury history minus breaking his hand on the trainer?
He missed his entire first Season.

Didn't miss a game the next.

Missed 18 the following year.

2 straight Seasons of 80 games played.

He's played 67,35, 61 the last 3 years.

....and he'll be 29 before the Season ends.

I'd pay Milsap over Blake.

Did you see this shit?

Phil can't be that dumb, right?

Wade, Lebron and Melo are all trying to play the fucking system.

A source confirmed the Knicks are aware Anthony prefers getting released rather than agreeing to a trade, even if he would lose a trade-kicker bonus. Anthony understands the Cavaliers don’t have the assets to make a deal for him, and this way he can add depth to the Eastern Conference champions without taking away a major piece such as Kevin Love, who is being dangled for Paul George.

I doubt Phil gives him what he wants.
As far as Wade, not sure what he's thinking other then regretting leaving here to begin with.

It would be stupid for both, imo.

Melo doesn't bring a single thing that the Cavs need to catch them up to the Warriors. Melo is an older version of Kevin Love minus the rebounds.

The Cavs need defense. That's why a 1 year rental of PG-13 makes sense.

Tristan > Blake+Whiteside.

Dude knew when he opted in that a butler trade was being discussed.

He made his bed.

I got no problem with guys playing buddy ball.

But, the way they are trying to do it is shitty.

Give up all of your money if you want your freedom.

Wade wants both.

To get PG, you're losing Love or Kyrie.
Under this scenario, Wade, Melo make it a Big 5, and 3/4 of Banana Boat team is united.

Warriors still win, but Cavs are much improved over current version.

Seriously, Dude is my favorite player.

But, his style of play doesn't work well with his brittle bone syndrome.

Someone is going to pay him.

After what you guys just went thru with Bosh, I hope it's not you almost as much as I hope it's not the Clippers.

Yep.
He chose to opt it.
Bulls shouldn't reward that.
