They have to give ol' Gators the courtesy of showing interest. I'm surprised they didn't mention Mullen too for the same reason...unless somebody still has an ax to grind with him.

Kelly gives me hope. I'm really looking forward to somebody with NFL experience...if for nothing more than it seemed to help Saban. Last time around, the rumors included that OC from the Patriots.
The NFL is so fucked up these days. You'd think some of its corches would consider a high paying college job.

I don't even care much if the guy is an offensive coach...just want someone who knows how to hire an OC and stay on his ass. I'd be disappointed if nobody reached out to Dan Quinn, who was our DC for a couple great years, or someone like that.

No interest in Strong. He couldn't come with an offense when he was at Texas.

UCF is a giant school but the football program seems like it would be easier to micromanage - like Mac's last job.

UCF leads the country in PPG plus he has a history of being successful in a tempo offense. Mac, while he checked several boxes, wouldn’t know tempo if it got between him and his shark lover.
