i facepalmed your assessment based on last years win or losses....not taggart over frost. its akin to picking a bandwagon by who has the nicer uniforms to me. frost may be this years model but dismissing taggart as someone who hasnt proven anything isnt right. you dont get plucked from wku to usf to oregon because you arent good. he has ties to tampa area (i believe) and he has recruited florida and the south wherever he went. so he has relationships already in place that can keep recruits from jumping ship. anyone that runs an up tempo scoring offense is fine by me. gators have lost a lot of attendance the last 3 years because no one wants to be bored and lose the big games.

frost went 6-7 first year after a 0-10 season
and is now currently undefeated .. Taggarts best season at usf was 10 and 2 and in year two at Oregon is 4-5... just no thanks

From what I can find, this is his first year at Oregon. He was at South Florida in 2016. I'm afraid that if Nebraska comes calling, Frost will go there. Since that where he was as a player.

Taggart is from Bradenton and played qb at wku.. but didn't we just have a coach who was supposed to be an offensive guru yada yada but couldn't find a qb if his life depended on it and sure as hell couldn't develop one for 3 years.. also mac had a similar record at his job before UF.. I get he seems to be a good recruiter.. but i want someone whos got a good OC and can adjust when shits hitting the fan.. his record doesn't show me he's all that and a box of chocolates is all.. i know frost is only in year two at ucf but he has absolutely righted the ship at UCF.. and to me that's promising

Is Saban a "great offensive coach?" No. HC is an executive mgmt position and not a coaching position. Who knows, if Mac was our OC and we had a great HC, our offense might be great.

The only problem is, sitting out here, we have no ideas who is a great manager except for the resulting cash flow and stock price....oops...I mean wins and losses.

I would love to have Frost. He would be my first choice. But Taggert's has to be in the conversation. I just don't see Charlie Strong, Lane Kippen or Les Miles who have been linked to the coaching search, anywhere close to the gators.

He was also quarterbacks and offensive coordinator at Oregon from 2013-2015.
