We don't. We don't lose players like Dez Fitzpatrick to Louisville if we paid.

This is a good read

Newton rewrote rules but here's how cheating is still rampant in college

In this age, though, it’s more likely you’ll see -- or not see -- casino chips as a payoff. Casinos are everywhere. Chips can be handed out like nickels. Hey, if they’re worth $500, all the better. Illicit money can be laundered through a donation to a church or a non-profit organization. Once it gets there, the cash descends down a rabbit hole the NCAA has a hard time reaching.

Gift cards have long been around. They can be used for, well, everything -- a night out on the town, gas, books, even tuition for online courses. More experienced cheaters will buy the gift cards (with cash) in an athlete’s hometown so it looks like they came from the family.

Bitcoin has become a rising concern. The “cryptocurrency” is still a bit, well, cryptic. But anything that passes money in digital bits means it can be hiding. “The currency is almost unlimited,” Duncan added. “Sometimes it’s U.S. dollars, sometimes it’s Bitcoin, sometimes it’s casino chips. Sometimes it’s a house for mom and dad or a sibling.”

Also addresses the grey area created by 7 on 7 coaches who turn into "guardians"

Oh man... the Ole Piss 247 board is the saddest most depressing, hilarious thing you'll see in the world of recruiting

I'm done

He looks/plays like a 5 star.

15-20 more lbs and he's gonna be a monster.

Really good player... obviously responds to coaching well and is tenacious on defense. Need to hold onto him and I think we will.

Yeah, ya never know with kids, but I think it's a pretty safe bet at this point.

Never actually received an offer from ND.

This has been on my mind for the last couple days...

Tyjon. He needs an ego check.

Somethin' about that dude makes me believe that at the first sign of adversity he's gonna up and transfer.

Riley had better have a serious plan laid out to get him on the field and successful ASAP because he could go Aaron Green on us in a heartbeat.

I'm still skeptical about him even still signing with Nebraska. Dude is just suspect.

Doesn't hurt that he's playing NT and drawing double teams in his tape... Not the same tech he'll be asked to use here if he's gonna be a true NT. I think he'd be better at DE. He gets after it. Sheds blockers and gets upfield quick.

And what is all this Buckeye BS I'm hearing about the only reason Tyjon decommited is because of a female? Some drama between him and Tate Martell.

sour grapes, which is ironic for Ohio State... fact is... OSU's WR coach didn't connect with him and their lack of an intermediate passing game all year out of the slot gave Tyjon pause.

Good thing he knows nothing about Kevin Wilson...

It sounded like they wanted to use him a bit like Curtis Samuel...kind of a situational guy. DAT told him to watch out for that (DAT is still trying to figure out the WR position in the NFL) and he wants to be a true WR. He thinks he will get better coaching here.

FYI... perhaps this is not new info but (as i'm putting together a OV list for this weekend) it sounds like Lenoir is down to Nebraska or Oregon... he's visiting Mississippi State too (or so he says) but I doubt there's real interest there as they just recently seemed to pop up on his radar.

He has a really good relationship with Donte Williams... as does Elijah Blades. Gotta think ONE of these highly rated guys will pay off.

They're referring to Taint as a female

Yeah I read the scout article. OSU fans before were over the moon about him. Next Percy Harvin, next Curtis Samuel...

After they were like: Too short, too slow, would never start here, scared of competition, bad priorities.

We play them for the next 3 years. Two at home. Gonna be fun.
