2017 Class: Pre start

Well here is some early insight.

1st off great start for ND in 2017: Players already committed:
They already have the #1 TE on board. Brock Wright and 4 star TE Coel Kemet. ND is strong at TE with this class.
4 star DE Robert Beal is already committed. Here comes our Pass Rush. ND will go hard at the DLine in this class.
4 star OL Joshua Lugg is committed to ND already.
3 star OL Dillan Gibbons is committed to ND.
ND knows how to build at Oline and starting to become Oline U. The last 2 years they have had a Top 3 class at the oline. 2017 shouldnt be any different.

Player on their List:
ND #1 target that isnt committed yet is 5 star DE Joshua Kaindoh.
ND #1 target at DT is 4 star DT Haskell Garrett
ND after 4 star DE Corey Malone-Hatcher. (Its a ND, Bama and Mich race)
ND will go hard after 4 star OL Trey Smith.
ND is in the mix already with 4 star OL Jedrick Wills
ND Big target is QB Avery Davis.
ND will go after Top RB Najee Harris. Bama commit right now.
ND has another RB in mind also with AJ Dillon
ND will go hard after 5 star WR Donovan Peoples-Jones.ND would love to team him up with Drob we land him. If we dont then Peoples will hopefully be our make up.
ND has another brother they are going after Osiris St Brown. 4 star WR.
ND has another WR on their mind Tarik Black.
Another brother ND will try to change his mind is 4 star DT Jerron Cage(committed to OSU).
ND after 4 star LB David Adams. ND is in his top 4. Others are Stanford, Pitt, Penn St.
ND going hard after 4 star LB Baron Browning. He is committed to Baylor right now.
4 star LB Antjuan Simmons is a big target for ND. High on their board.
4 star CB Ambry Thomas. Race between ND, PSU, Mich and MSU.
4 star DB RJ Potts has ND high on his list.
4 star Athlete Tyrell Ajian has ND as his #1

Nice fun update. ND is looking to go big at the LB and Dline position in this class. In a perfect world if ND could land Kaindoh and Garrett it will be an amazing class. Plus add if we sign Drob and then Peoples WOW.

Rumor has it that most of the staff knew or have a feeling they will have a Big recruiting year in the 2017 class. there is talk that they have a chance for the #1 spot. A lot of the top kids like ND. We just have to win on the field.

They have a shot to be right in the discussion. Usually good seasons help the following year in recruiting especially if you follow up on it that didn't happen after the National Title game appearance.

Garrett committed to Ohio State so I would say they aren't going to get him at least at the moment.
