It was only a year ago that Djokovic had that 100 unforced error match at the AO.

I was never much of a Roddick fan, though I admire him for getting every bit he could out of his game.

Dolgopolov vs Monfils was a dud, so I switched over to the Nole match right before falling asleep.

Was pretty stunned to wake up and find out Nole lost. Yikes. Gift wrapped for Murray, one would think, but I've got this strange feeling that we might see a first-time major winnner on the men's side.

What I'd like to see, in order of preference:

1. Wawrinka wins
2. Somebody under the age of 26 wins
3. Murray wins
4. Fed wins
5. Raonic or Nishikori win
6. Nadal wins

I pretty much agree with this. Only thing is I would swap #3 & #4.

This is must-watch, don't know how many more chances there will be to see him.

I think the last time I watched a 2AM PST AO match was during the 2nd week of the 2012 AO. I think FED played Nadal that day, and I was also watching Clijster's match from the late day session.

In between those matches, watched a NBA game. So it went tennis match, NBA, then tennis, from pretty much 6pm - 4am. I think.

This time though, not watching that much tonight, will try to rest for the 2am match.

This should be a pretty bad match-up for Vandeweghe.

Bouchard takes the ball earlier than just about any player, and Vandeweghe has very loopy groundstrokes, particularly that woeful backhand of hers. Bouchard should be able to exploit that.

Should being the operative word. Both of these players can lose it mentally at the drop of a hat.

I'll say it again. I always say it during the US Open. If you're a fan of ground passes and want to see competitive matches, getting a ground pass during the 3rd round of any major is one of the best ticket in sports IMO. You get to walk around the grounds and see so many matches for a pretty cheap price

I barely watched any of it. Just tuning into tennis channel every once in a while and hoping they have another match on lol.
