I'm switching over to Monfils/Dolgopolov until I fall asleep in about an hour.

Could be a really fun match. Dolgopolov's serve motion and retrieving might just drive Monfils insane.

Holy cow. I wake up to see Novak has been eliminated. It is crazy how fast things change. He was on top of the world last year after winning the French. He had just completed the career GS and won botb majors of 2016. Then ever since Wimbledon it has been all downhill for him

eh he will be back on top eventually. I don't know if this is a changing of the guard at the top or anything, but Djokovic isn't going to go that quietly.

You sure about that?

I don't doubt that he will majors again but I think the type of Novak winning 3 of 4 GS and dominating all the ATP 1000 events are over.

I mean, I can only be so sure, but there is always a new, young group challenging for the crown.

I wouldn't say Djokovic lost this match as much as Istomin went out and fought and won it.

I like Istomin. I met him once when I went to the US Open a few years ago. He was playing on one of the outer courts and after his match, he just walked through the grounds and took pictures/spoke with the fans. Seems like a good guy. Really fell off the last few years though

Now is when the road gets tough for Fed. Tonight last on RLA, he is facing Berdych.

I love stories like that. I can't imagine being some low level professional tennis player like that, but they somehow make it work.

And yea, Nole should have rolled this dude. Could just be a slump.

Very surprise that they chose to put Stan on Laver over Andy Murray. They put Andy on Hisense.

I'd rather watch Stan. He's my favorite on the tour right now.

I hate Andy.

Andy draw has been so favorable. He is going to walk to the quarters without a challenge. His first competitive match will be in the Quarters against either Roger, Kei, or Berdych. I feel like we're heading for a Stan/Andy semi finals. Stan draw is not so bad either.

Yea since Roddick retired, Stan is now my favorite player. Been that way for about 3 or 4 years now

I was never much of a Roddick fan, though I admire him for getting every bit he could out of his game.

Dolgopolov vs Monfils was a dud, so I switched over to the Nole match right before falling asleep.

Was pretty stunned to wake up and find out Nole lost. Yikes. Gift wrapped for Murray, one would think, but I've got this strange feeling that we might see a first-time major winnner on the men's side.

What I'd like to see, in order of preference:

1. Wawrinka wins
2. Somebody under the age of 26 wins
3. Murray wins
4. Fed wins
5. Raonic or Nishikori win
6. Nadal wins

Lost to Istomin because he could not stop sneezing.

All kidding aside, very happen for Denis. One of the real good guys of tennis.

Raonic is getting scary good. If Murray goes out earlier then it might finally be his time. I think he wins one this year anyway.

I pretty much agree with this. Only thing is I would swap #3 & #4.

FED vs. Berdych, 2 AM PST, Friday morning.

This is must-watch, don't know how many more chances there will be to see him.

I'll probably take a nap.
