Perez is rated at 60 (above average) for his fastball curve and changeup at his level. He is only 20. MLB Prospects see him as a #3 starter within 1-2 years. He'll probably open at AA this year. Maybe he won't be the ace of the staff but he could be good enough to prevent a GM from wasting money on another Zimmermann.

Looking at several "projections" lists for batters, I see they all seem to figure Miggy Cabrera will make a return to near normal...but not All-Star status. They call for a BA in the high .280s, 27-29 HRs, 80-90 RBI (team stat) with higher K numbers and lower walk totals.
If he does approach that kind of hitting, I would question why the projected low walk totals? Why would pitching staffs give him anything good to hit, unless VMart is batting behind him and HE has also returned to ''the good old days'', which I think is extremely unlikely. With the possible Tiger lineup for 2018, if Miggy does return to anything like his 2016-self, I see a lot of intentional walks coming his way.

-Hosmer had a 4.1 WAR, putting him 4th among 1B, even though he had a bad defensive year. (Miggy? -0.2 WAR)
-Cain's 4.1 WAR put him 7th among all MLB CF. (.300 BA/26 SB)
-Moustakas does have defensive flaws but he did hit a respectable .272 with 38 HRs

Doug this proves you know nothing about baseball. (Add in your Carlos Santana comment here). Each of these players will get multi-year contracts and be starters. Stop making a fool of yourself, just for attention.
