2016 Spring Ball Thread

As requested. First day of practice was today. Media will be at Saturday practices throughout spring ball.

Darlington moved to WR. seems like a good move with the type of QB he was, might work on the jet sweep. he was buried in the depth chart at QB especially with POB.

oh and Bankers going to coach the Safeties and Stewart only with Corners. could be good, Banker though has less time than to evaluate or go around and helping other position groups.

I think that there's a trust which wasn't there last year.

HAVE to fix the secondary. There's literally nowhere to go up at this point, so I applaud the move. Riley was a secondary coach before anything else. He signed off on it.

Gerry said that they would often start using old techniques taught by BP in games. Need to exorcise that demon somehow.

Not saying one is better than the other. Obviously they ran a pretty damn good secondary, but when the whole secondary is reverting back to old techniques in a completely different scheme... Well you saw what happened.

I am not sure if Banker doing anything is good. At least, if the safeties do dumb things he won't be able to hide behind Riley.

If pass defense continues to be over 100th I think we know where the problem lies.

Did you know that one reason that the rush defense had good numbers was because the nebraska defense faced the 2nd fewest amount of rush attempts against them in the country? As stated before, the Nebraska weakness was pass defense and the goal of the game is to exploit the opponent weakness.

Looking forward to the March announcement by Keyshawn Johnson, no matter which way it goes, but my fingers are crossed along with toes, legs, and eyes.
