Just not gong to get those big, flashy name/kids anymore at this point. Nebraska football is not the "Brand" it used to be.

I really like Miller, he's gonna be a good one. I don't know anything about Pernell, but I do know a 2* LB just committed to Oklahoma after he jumped ship for us, so at least they wanted him.

Riley is getting the same type of recruits Bo was getting.

The only argument that any crazy person could make is "well, yea but Riley's 3-stars fit here moar bettar than Bo's."

My point is we're sitting here getting excited over the same exact stuff we have gotten excited over for the past decade. We get these mid-level recruits and then watch their videos and talk ourselves into believing they are really something special.

All these 3-star recruits really tell us is we're not back to winning yet. When we get there then suddenly this thread will be filled with "4-star commits to Nebraska!"

I disagree with that. They'll get into the big recruits if they clean up the fundamentals and start winning games they're not expected to. They made a good step towards that in the last half of the season and in their bowl game.

Iowa was a setback, but turnovers kill.

They won 3 of their last 4 games. You have to go back to 2009 for that. Not to mention not one game in 2015 was a blowout. There is reason to be optimistic.

Miller's a good prospect, had a heck of a senior year and always wanted to be a Husker. Athletic DE that could play OLB in the 3-4 for a lot of teams so a versatile player. Pernell Jefferson on the other hand is a tweener, great athlete but not sure where he fits, probably a BUCK linebacker.
