I wanna get into EPL but I also want to stay true to my Houston roots. So help me pick a team that is good at choking and underachieving.

Would Everton be a good coice?

As someone who adopted Everton as his team a few years back?

Yes, good choice... Really don't ever have to worry about them being relegated, yet they always seem on the cusp of doing something but find a way to gack...

Liverpool looks amazing

They are playing really top notch right now. Going into the season, I don't think anyone questioned their ability to score. Their defense has been their achilles heel, but they've been pretty decent there for the past few games. Definitely looking like a contender right now.

Losing the last 3 of 5 doesn't help though. Especially considering Watford was one of them.

Watford was bad for sure. Losing to Man City is not bad at all. And I believe the other L came in UEFA group stage which I don't think they care much about

Bad morale affect soccer more than most sports. Just look at what happened to Chelsea last year.

While I think Man U will be fine, they're not going to be champions by a long run. Top 3 is looking questionable.

Way too early to make that assumption. I'm not sure if they win the title but they'll be in a champions league spot by the end of the year.

I agree. They will likely win the Europa tourney as well...at least the semi finals is my prediction.

But, what do I know, I have never played soccer in my life.

Ivanovic while an old Chelsea boy is getting over the hill. he doesn't have the pace anymore, he bumbles into people and gives away silly free kicks. Azp is a right back, PUT HIM THERE. Good call, bring on alonso to add some speed down the left side. especially since hazard won't track back. Putting victor on the left wing is a great call. A very direct player who goes up the pitch. 1-2 with him and Hazard could be effective.

But Matic, again. If you have Konte in the holding midfield. What the fuck is Matic going to do, no vision, no ball skills, no distribution, no shoot taking ability.
