Michael Saunders-Decided not to sign Melky
Logan Verrett/Daniel Winkler-2 rule 5 SPs that K and most likely be Hold guys/Winkler will miss 1/2 a year due to TJ
Vidal Nuno-will get a full season in the NL
Ryan Rua/Cory Spangenburg- late season call ups who hit well
Preston Guilmet - closer stuff/will get a shot at holds 1st in Pitt.
Stephen Vogt-older but C and CI eligible but can hit.

I like the thoughts of Nuno and Vogt...guys to keep an eye on.

As for Van Slyke, aren't Ethier and Crawford still kickin' around? Pederson will surely start, no?

Van Slyke hits better than both Ethier and Crawford, especially Ethier.


Just saw Jace Peterson was traded to ATL, he could show up this year too with his speed.

Nah. Van Slyke is good for spot starts against Wade Miley (no, seriously), but they made that move to make room for Pederson. Van Slyke is a platoon guy.
