So far Baylor and USC are leading the overrated category with 3 votes each. UGA and TCU have 2 votes each. In the underrated category it's more diverse. A&M, Oklahoma, Ok State, and Boise State all have 2 votes each.

Overrated? Tough call between #6 Auburn and #8 USC. I'll go USC. Underrated? Tough call between #23 Boise and #24 Missouri. You could possibly throw #22 U of Gay in there too, but I'll go with Missouri.

It will be interesting to see what John Chavis does with that A&M "defense" which has been an embarrassing joke. They could be underestimated too and aren't even ranked. You know they'll score points. Now they have Chavis who's a pretty incredible DC. He should get things cleaned up the way that Muschamp should help clean up Auburn's train wreck of a D.

But yeah, A&M could be one to watch.

Underrated: North Carolina - 8th in the nation according to Phil steeles returning experience chart. Brings in a great defensive coordinator, they can only improve. Offense lost a grand total of 16 catches, will be better than they already were. Strong enough to compete for an acc title. Whether or not they will is another question.

You realize Michigan was number 1 in experience. Just because you have experience doesn't mean you are good. Conversely, Alabama and Ohio State were inexperienced last year and did fairly well.

Alabama and Ohio State are well coached, I'm not sure Clemson is. Michigan was bad and stayed bad. UNC was good and will get better. UNC also progressed throughout the year last year.
