2015-16: Who Will Win - Steelers @ Patriots?

Not sure if there's a poll on this already, but I am thinking of a poll series to do this year. I'll see how long I can keep it up, but no guarantees.

First up, Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots, who wins? I'm not putting tie as an option, it's just not practical, though possible.

I would put money on the Steelers. Brady is an experienced QB but he's still been wrapped up in court and divorce conversation for most of the offseason. Also, Pats lost some studs in the secondary. I still expect Brown to burn them. It'll be a close game, but going to give a slight edge to Steelers. I also think the Steelers D is underrated.

Pitt lost too much to suspensions. Defense is WAY too weak to stop the Pats. Pats roll in this one is my guess.

Pats didn't exactly hit the ground running last year so there's no reason to think that they'll roll the Steelers.

Pats have a lot of distractions and one of the biggest will be the banner ceremony. It's hard to feast and be hungry. If they do any basking in the sun about last year, they'll drop this game. Gotta go with Pats but in a close one and a loss wouldn't shock me.

Sure hope I'm wrong though and Brady wobbles up 40+ pts on 'em!

I'm kind of thinking high scoring game with Pats getting a late TD to close out the victory. Should be an excellent game to watch!

And DW will carry the rock very well against that Wilfork-less D-line.....Pitt 35 or more - Pats 20 if lucky

Pats contiune to baffle AFCN defence's. Pats D underrated. One weapon for the Patsto shut down shouldn't be an issue. Pats w/o Blount (suspended), Wayne/Gray released still have too much talent on the offensive side of the ball for Pitt. BB has the Pats ready like always. Pats by 10 take them even with the highest spread for week one.

I also think the Patriots offense will look like crap too. Belichick seems to treat the beginning of the season like extended pre-season.

It's possible that the decision will unleash a whole lot of emotion for the team but we'll see.

Just read that Brady's record vs the 4 teams, he was originally suspended for 7-2 vs Pitt ( 0 losses in Gillette) 6-0 vs Jags 3-0 vs Dallas and 23-3 vs Buff but I know that has no bearing for this season, and he is getting old

SP I read your post and know what you meant, about your D being so off that even w/o Brady they would prob lose. I'm not sold on Garrop and would think Steelers with Ben and your weapons on offense and NE 's untested secondary would win that, with Brady have a pretty good shot, to keep up score

right, but did you see what some really bad offensive teams did to us? i guess u probably didnt, being pre season........i mean gaping holes to run through, no pass rush, and our secondary is awful, its basically prevent D style D. just give up chunks and chunks of yards, thing is they dont prevent the score......keep in mind no marty b, no Bell.........

I didn't I prob watched 15 minutes total of pre-season inc Pats games, but your offense can put up 40 points on any given day. Never forget the 2 6td games Ben had last season and over 500 yards passing
