We might have a better chance of making the NCAA Tourney than the NIT.

Sounds strange, I know. But let's say we win 3 games and lose the Championship game, we end the season with 17 wins. Might be tough to get into the NIT with 17.

Our only chance to make postseason play happen might be to win the Big 10 Tourney, in which case we would auto qualify for the NCAA Tourney.

In other words, we are done. This is sad. We beat the #2 team in the country in their house and then just go down the shitter after that.

I seriously doubt that. I bet he gets at least 2-3 more seasons to get to the tournament.

Maybe but how long can he get when we can't even make the damn NIT. Another losing season next year and he is gonna be in trouble

If we DO end up hiring a new coach in the next 3 years, I'm guessing we'll be able to land a bigger name.

If you find a big man who can play, you'll just play better......

That is all.

Let's say Miles finds a big man, say a stud freshman who can start right away...who's your starting five then next year?

Gill
White
Watson
Morrow
and Big Man?

I like Tai coming off the bench as the 6th man
and we would still have good depth on the bench with Hammond, McVeigh and Jacobson.

Man, Miles is seriously only 1 or 2 pieces away

I don't see any way Tai doesn't start. He has by far the most experience out of anyone returning and it's not even close. Plus the fact that he improved 10-fold this season doesn't hurt.

It's not robot. It's just that nobody cares.

Skinny kid who was just going to get his ass beat time and time again in the Big 10. He probably got the memo that Miles is going to bring in a real big guy.

Please go to cretin..please go to cretin

from cretintom article

The 6-foot-10, 235-pounder played in 29 games, making eight starts as a sophomore, averaging 2.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game last season.

That followed a slow freshman campaign for Hammond, who averaged 0.3 points and 0.6 rebounds per game in 11 contests.

I support Jacob and his decision to transfer,” Nebraska head coach Tim Miles said

yes, i would too.

Miles had been trying to do that since he got here. Has something changed that would lead you to believe that he will finally succeed?

Well, the big guys he was trying to pull in were all 5-star pipe dreams. It seemed to me like he had a vision of building a program around scrappy Defense and half-ass shooters, and then if a big guy fell in to place by accident so be it.

Now he's seeing that we simply won't succeed unless we get a real big guy.
